Bobby Carlson’s been making movies since he was just a kid absorbing the world through the viewfinder of his family’s camcorder. By the time middle school rolled around, he and his friends had amassed quite the catalog of workout videos, hockey stickhandling reels, and days’ worth of AVF-worthy footage. Playing around with camera features from an early age helped him to carve out the signature slow-mo, detail-focused style he’s known for today. His natural interest in camera work all those years ago led him to develop the talent for shooting and editing that would eventually become his career.
Now through Bold Vision Productions, Bobby helps people lean in and show off a little bit. Whether amping up a personal brand, attracting a new audience, or capturing a helluva story, he loves helping people shine in their own element. Having grown up within a family of entrepreneurs, he knows just how much delivering a compelling result can mean, especially to a business owner.

Pre-Production - Let’s make a plan.
The pre-production phase ensures that production goes smoothly – it’s primarily dedicated to planning. We’ll work with you to understand project goals, establish a general narrative, and arrange all the details needed to shoot footage. Additionally, we may want to visit the shoot location to scope out shots, adjust lighting, and plan key angles. A thorough pre-production process paves the way for a fun and efficient production day!
Production – The cameras are rolling!
Let’s have some fun and get some great shots! On production day, we will be in our element behind the camera, and we’ll make sure you’re at ease on the other side of the lens. Both our planning and intuition will guide production. It’s our goal to make this day an upbeat and positive experience you won’t forget. Post-Production - This is when the movie magic happens.
First, we’ll be heads-down editing all the raw footage filmed during production. Our Intuitive editing style is guided by the motion in the footage and the music selected for the video. We weave it all together with transitions, graphics, and more to deliver a polished, ready-to-use version to you. This post-production stage is where a project really comes together, specially curated for your goals.
When your video is complete, we’ll deliver it to you in the format(s) most convenient for your purposes. We strive to move through the entire process within a reasonable timeline while still working at the highest level and executing to the best of our ability. Even after final delivery, we believe in fostering long-term relationships and hope to capture your next bold vision as your journey unfolds.
